Every day we have a gift of 1440 new minutes. Think about it – 1440 new minutes.
How will we invest this precious gift? Will we set aside the first part in fellowship, worship and prayer with the God of the Universe? His invitation is compelling. “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know,” (Jeremiah 33:3). In case we feel unworthy he tells us that each new day comes with fresh mercy.
The 1440 Window is a call to focus on the Priority of Prayer in both our personal and corporate lives. It is a call to make prayer the defining characteristic of our churches and our communities. Jesus declared, “My house will be called a house of prayer,” (Matthew 21:13). And it is a call to see how Prayer is the key to unlocking both the 10/40 and the 4 to 14 Windows.
So how do we access the true power of prayer – in both our personal and corporate lives? Let’s see if we can find some of the “on-ramps.”
